Inspectors’ duties are as follows:
• Ensure schedule is open at all times for schedulers to schedule home inspection services.
• Conduct home inspection services in a manner that represents the company, spending as much time as possible at the inspection to ensure that the inspection is thoroughly conducted and the customer is satisfied.
• To report for each inspection at least 15 minutes early.
• To complete all inspection reports on site unless the complexities of the inspection prevent this. Where inspection reports are not completed on site, inspectors are required to complete and deliver reports no later than 24 hours from the day of the inspection, or another time as mutually agreed with the customer/realtor.
• Respond to all telephone calls as needed between inspections. No calls are to be taken or made during the inspection when the customer/realtors are present unless emergency.
• Write reports in a manner consistent with the company policies, procedures and training.
• Inspect every accessible area of the home and report visible conditions accordingly.
• Follow up with all clients and realtors one week later to ensure that they are satisfied with the service you provided them.
• To help and assist with any claims or calls that occur following an inspection.
• To return to an inspected home as needed to correct or review any findings that were in question.
• To attend all monthly meetings or other meetings as directed by the company.
• To fulfill all training requirements as required on a monthly/yearly basis.
• To act professional at all times.
• To ensure all inspection equipment and tools are up to date and in working order.
• To assist and help general manager with any inspection needs as it relates to inspections conducted by the inspector.
• To ensure office is fully communicated with at any time the inspector is unable to attend, conduct an inspection or is running late.
• Communicate all conflicts in scheduling or issues that arise in the field to the general manager. |
